THE TRUTH FROM MARCUS JONES -
First, let's correct the term took into accepted payment, after which I ordered material ordered and still have it on site but was unable to complete order due to the other strains. This customer Mr. Howton has slandered ny name because of the delay and certainy not because of having proper information. Once Henry Wayne Monk was fired and became disgruntled and lying his butt off to Mark Howton of how bad of a person I was and how good of a person he was, Mark Howton listened and bought his crap and sent money again to the same address that he had originally sent it to pay me. Henry Wayne Monk had poisoned his mind with and not the facts in order to get his money. Henry Wayne Monk had all the pieces going against me because I fired him and they believed him hook line and sinker but then the tables turned and his truth came out in less than 4 months after he started his own monument company again but with my pictures and others comanies pictures on his website. Once the order was taken he told them that it would take about 6-8 weeks and up to 120 days on import orders so the customers had no way of knowing that he would not provide them with anything and trusted him because #1 he was white, # 2 he said he was working with the BBB and the State Attorney Generals office to get these back orders caught up and # 3 the delivery dates were new #4 He was slandering my name and business as an ex-employee. So since the so called re-do time was new they thought that he was trustworthy. However, the same person who started all this media frenzy and lies now is on his own and has gotten some of my old clients to repay him and well as new ones for items that I had on order and many which were already here, promising them that he would take care of it but when the time for delivery came around then the excuses started to pour in. The office was broken into and other lies.
So now his time to deliver is here and these customers who trusted him over me and repaid him again now are seeing that he is exactly what I said he was and had they not been so blinded by his lies they would not have been bitten by him. I find it very ironic that the same media who has publicly lied to listeners did not find this interesting to report this. I mean think about it, The headling could have read " The whistleblower has been busted himself " or "Another Monument Company accussed of stealing clients money" or "Ex employee who accusses boss of fraud is a fraud himself." Not a single word on him. Keep in mind that he worked from home and actually spoke with these families to take their initial orders and not me. Common sense should tell you that if these families ordered from him while working for me and if he and I were partners as the news reported and Meredith DeVault has gingerly lied about then why in the world would these people trust him again and repay him again.
The reason they did is simple. He had started his own company independent of mine and I had not seen him for nearly 2 years while I endured this drama. Prior to complaints coming in to the BBB, Meredith DeVault and others, none of my court papers has him listed as a co-defendant. Not once did he attend civil court with me, not once was he asked to be at the deposition that I gave to the State. His name was of no interest. Nearly 2 years later after he is exposed, only then do they add him. Why wasn't he on there in the beginning. Answer: Because they believed his lies. I mean Andy Cordan edited two separate filmings to make a clip and then add a bunch of sensational words to emotionalize his that's messed up story about me with a client of mine who lived all the way in Nebraska who paid nearly $3,300.00 for a monument from which I have layouts for,paid deposits on material and actually had the material in line to be etched and completed, but he would not carry this story from California and other areas concerning Henry Wayne Monk who was paid again for material that I have on hand from this Howton family and other families in amount as much as $8,000 after spearheading this fiasco in my business. Andy Cordan never looked at any invoices or anything, to make his show he took it and ran with it, facts or no facts. Forget investigating just splatter false information. Andy Cordan and the other local media outlets will tell you they knew nothing about his deeds but I will add the emails that I sent to them under the News Cast link that will show otherwise. These people are not working for you. They are working for each other.
They trusted him because of the above reasons I stated earlier and had he did what was right the State, the clients would not have bothered that the images were identical to my websites and he would have walked off scott free. But once the time for his company www.monkmemorials.com to produce and he did not, it then became apparent to the State, BBB and clients that this guy is a crook. So the easy fix to the public is for Meredith DeVault to go on the news and say that these two were partners. These clients intelligence has been highly insulted by such lies. You mean to tell me that this guy Henry Wayne Monk took orders while working for Mr. Jones and was partners with him while some of the orders were backlogged and these customers who had full knowledge of this would turn around and pay the guy again who is suppossedly Mr. Jones's partners. Now way, the truth is they repaid him because he said he had his own company and badmouthed me along the way to gain their trust and just flat out lied to keep their money. Ride by the 1005 Delmas address and you want find a single stone anywhere and then ride by my old location at 3918 Dickerson Road behind that building and see for yourself. What Mr. Monk was allowed to do because of his race is equivalent to him being asked for help by someone who has just been shot in the left arm and instead of him helping them he turns and shoots them in the right arm after having full knowledge of their wound.
He and I operated totally separate and I have location, lease, lot, paid for material, stencils, witnesses etc and what does he have. Nothing but lies, state cover up and $15,000 of clients money simply because these agencies thought he was that pure informant instead of looking at the facts that I gave them about my business and him.
So Mr. Mark Howton your report is correct except for the fact that I scammed you. No, Henry Wayne Monk scammed you. I ordered your material and its still on site but unfinished.
